Client Onboarding Portal

Ultragel Engineering · 2024

This project involved building a secure client portal for hydro-technical asset documentation. The system handles watershed management reports, industrial water conservation protocols, and Canada Water Act compliance filings. Each client receives a dedicated workspace with version-controlled document uploads, automated regulatory checklists, and direct messaging to engineering leads. The portal reduced administrative overhead by 40% during the first quarter of deployment, with clients reporting faster access to technical records and audit-ready documentation.

Engineering Process for Watershed Compliance

From initial site assessment to regulatory documentation under the Canada Water Act

01 Site Hydrological Survey

Field data collection on water flow, sediment load, and seasonal variance within the industrial zone. Baseline measurements are recorded for all intake and discharge points.

02 Asset Inventory & Risk Mapping

Catalog of all hydro-technical assets — dams, culverts, pumps, treatment units — with condition scoring and failure probability. Priority zones are flagged for immediate intervention.

03 Conservation Protocol Design

Closed-loop cooling schematics, process water recycling loops, and leak detection network layouts are drafted. Each design is cross-checked against industrial water conservation targets.

04 Regulatory Alignment Review

Documentation is audited against the Canada Water Act provisions for water quality, quantity, and ecosystem protection. Gaps are recorded and remediation steps are scheduled.

05 Implementation & Monitoring Plan

Phased rollout of approved protocols with real-time sensor integration. Monthly compliance reports are generated for federal submission and internal asset management records.
